As part of the excitement of Ski Jumping and the upcoming Winter Olympics, come help us kick off the Winter Olympics (which start February 7) at the Sheldon Theatre! The movie “Ready to Fly,” details the story of the long battle and struggles for recognition and inclusion of female jumpers at the Olympic level. This movie details the life of jumper Lyndsey Van. Lyndsey will be competing with the Women’s Olympic Ski Jumping team for the first time in history at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. A donation of $5 is requested, with the proceeds going to the new American Ski Jumping Museum & Hall of Fame (ASJHF), located in the Mezzanine Level of the St. James Hotel. Everyone that saw this movie during the induction ceremony was amazed with this movie! This event is open to the public!
