    ABOUT THE BEE

The Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to bring a nonpartisan civics competition to our community. The Bee inspires young learners to explore civic knowledge and discover how they can make a difference where they live. Students in grades 6–8 will showcase their understanding of civics for the chance to earn recognition and cash awards. Top performers will be invited to represent Minnesota in Washington, D.C. at the National Civics Bee National Championship in Fall 2026.

    WHY CIVICS?

The Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce supports the National Civics Bee because we believe that well-informed, engaged citizens are the foundation of a healthy democracy, a thriving economy, and a robust local workforce. By promoting civic knowledge and pride throughout southeastern Minnesota, the Bee helps prepare the next generation to lead, serve, and strengthen our community.
