We’re kicking off our Lunch & Learn Seminars season early this year…..August 2 we will host a session titled Strategies for Smart Giving. Lunch & Learn Seminars are an added benefit of being a Chamber member and they’re FREE, plus you get a FREE lunch! Reservations are required so we have enough meals--reservation deadline is July 31. Strategies for Smart Giving is our interactive one-hour program that helps businesses be more strategic about their charitable donations. The program’s facilitator, Jackie Reis, will present and discuss a number of tools businesses can use to put structure to their giving and help them learn when to say “yes” and how to say “no” to the numerous requests they get from community groups seeking their support. This program is part of Minnesota Business Gives, the Minnesota Chamber’s effort to motivate, educate, and recognize local businesses for the valuable contributions they make to their communities. Business Gives is a partnership between the Minnesota Chamber and local chambers throughout the state.
