              Event Description:
              Join presenter Julia Classen, Aurora Consulting, Inc., on Tuesday, September 13, from 9 AM–12:00 noon in the Red Wing Public Library, Foot Room for Executing your Strategic Plan. There is a tendency to breathe a sigh of relief and take a break once the strategic plan is developed and adopted and maybe look at it again a few weeks, months or years later. This workshop is to help you develop strategies to keep the strategic plan dynamic and relevant as the organization and the environment it exists in changes. This will be a “hands-on” workshop with participation, discussion and presentation. During this class, we will discuss the process of creating a board work plan, the structure of boards and committees, the role of staff, tools to evaluate progress, as well as updating goals and keeping motivated to get the work done.
