Everyone is invited to join the celebration with two events being held on Saturday, September 17. The day starts off at 8AM with a 5K Fun Run or Walk titled “Moving to the Future.” The run begins at the Professional and Community Center (formerly St. John’s Hospital on 4th Street) and ends at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. Cost is $15 and includes a t-shirt and refreshments. Following the 5K, there will be a FREE Kids Run at the Medical Center.
From 2-5PM on September 17th, as a thank you to the community, Fairview Red Wing Medical Center is hosting a Birthday Party in Red Wing Central Park. The Teddy Bear Band will perform two concerts, at 2:30 and 4PM, and community volunteers will be reading books to kids. Kids who were born. or have been treated at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center will receive a gift. All kids who register online will be entered in a drawing for a new bike from Wheelhouse Bike Shop.
