With Journey to Growth (J2G) and Destination Medical Center (DMC) well under way and reaching important milestones, leaders from across Southeast Minnesota are being brought together to examine what is expected for our economy in 2017. An Economic Keynote from Brigid Tuck, Senior Economic Impact Analyst for the University of Minnesota's Center for Community Vitality. An Economic Panel moderated by Cris Gastner, Senior Vice President, Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA) featuring panelists: Banking with Greg Evans, Regional President, Merchants Bank; Real Estate with Kelly Domaille, Real Estate Broker Associate, Keller Williams Premier Realty; Agribusiness with Perry Aasness, Executive Director, Minnesota Agri-Growth Council; and Manufacturing with Eric Miller, Director of Human Resources, Crenlo, LLC. An Innovators Panel moderated by Traci Downs, Area 10 Labs and Café Steam, and Collider featuring panelists: Vicky Vogt, Founder and Owner, Four Daughters Vineyard & Winery; Tim Marshall, Founder and Owner, Enlightened Equipment; and Jim Wendorff, Vice President, Human Resources, Viracon. Also at this event a A Keynote feature and interview from ABC 6 News Anchor Betsy Singer with Gail Dennison, Director of Development and Public Relations, Hormel Institute and Dr. Eric Wieben, Director of the Mayo Clinic's Medical Genome Facility and Co-Director of the Clinomics Program within the Center for Individualized Medicine and Mayo Clinic, both representing their organizations with the Minnesota Partnership for Biotechnology and Medical Genomics.
