Sargent’s Nursery (3352 North Service Drive) is hosting the Winter Farmer’s Market through the end of February from 9AM--Noon. They are offering an Ice Lantern Workshop December 15 at 11:30 AM. Using your own water and a lantern mold, you can make a beautiful ice lantern to decorate your walk or front porch – a great addition to your holiday decorating. Cost is $15 and includes one new lantern mold, instruction sheet and all the tips you need to make your own ice lanterns.
Children can enjoy Lois Burnes, reincarnating herself as Beatrix Potter and reading “Peter Rabbit`s Christmas.” from 10am-noon.
