In Red Wing we raised over $150,000 for 34 + organizations--far more than any other community our size! Together, we have the power to raise millions of dollars for thousands of nonprofits.
On November 16th from 8AM—8PM, the YMCA will be open to all community members free of charge. Several nonprofit organizations will staff a table, uniquely decorated to promote their cause. Many organizations will have events and contests to attract participants and encourage you to make donations on November 16. GiveMN’s Give to the Max Day amplifies your giving impact in a number of ways. First, a $1,000 “Golden Ticket” will be given to a random donor’s charity every hour. You could be that donor! The Jones Family Foundation and Red Wing Area Fund havebeen generous again this year and a match has been set up for Red Wing nonprofit organizations. New this year—$15,000, $10,000 and $5,000 prize grants will be awarded to the top three small nonprofit organizations – with budgets under $750,000 – which receive the most dollars on Give to the Max Day.
