Red Wing Public Schools Referendum—Vote April 12 Red Wing Public Schools will hold a building referendum on April 12, 2016. If approved, the estimated tax impact for the owner of a $150,000 home will be $5.37/month ($64.38/year) and the estimated tax impact for the owner of a $300,000 commercial property will be $21.88/month ($262.50/year). Proceeds will pay for the following:
Safety, security, and accessibility needs;
Roof repairs and replacement;
Parking lot repairs and replacement, including the two student lots at the high school;
Mechanical system repairs and upgrades;
Technology and communications infrastructure improvements; and
Other interior and exterior maintenance projects and equipment
If you want to learn more about the upcoming school facility referendum, attend one of these sessions offered in the Community Education conference room located through Door #10 around the right side of the high school building front entrance. Superintendent Karsten Anderson will present current needs and background information. Coffee and light snacks will be served.
