Red Wing Bridge Project Update

Several decisions have been made including: a new two-lane river bridge will be constructed upriver and adjacent to the existing bridge; there are 3 designs being considered; 3 alternatives remain for the Minnesota approach; and a recommended design has been identified for the Wisconsin approach.
The 3 bridge styles that are being considered are very different than the current Eisenhower Bridge. We are encouraging people to attend this meeting and give your opinion on which bridge style fits Red Wing the best. It is also critical to give your feedback on the three prospective Minnesota approach styles because they will have a major effect on our downtown and traffic flow.
No formal presentation will be made at this meeting and it is an Open House format. The public is encouraged to come and see the designs, communicate with the project team and give feedback.
