Name: MIssissippi National Golf Links Public Open HouseDate: June 12, 2013Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM CDTEvent Description:There will be an opportunity for the public to learn more about the status of the Mississippi National Golf Links Study Project and to provide additional input to the Study Team at an Open House scheduled from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, June 12, in the Foot Room of the Red Wing Public Library. The Study Team will be in attendance to provide an update on the project and to listen to additional citizen feedback. The Open House will begin at 5 PM with a short presentation at 5:30 PM.
The City has hired a professional consultant team, Schoenbauer Consulting LLC of Minneapolis, to facilitate gathering data and information from the community and other professional sources in order to develop a Study Report that will help lay out viable long term options for the golf course property. The Study Team was in Red Wing on May 20 and May 22 gathering information and conducting interviews with stakeholder organizations and individuals.
