    Event Description:
    Our next HYPE event will be Thursday, August 15, from Noon—1PM at the Red Wing Shoe Company Headquarters (314 Main Street). Information will be presented by Sharon McCord from McCord Executive Search and will focus on the ins and outs of LinkedIn and how to use it to leverage social media in a professional manner.     Volunteer Opportunity--Please consider joining us for HYPE's first community service project, the Mississippi Shuffle Relay For Life of Red Wing supporting the American Cancer Society on Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 at Bay Point Park. The event is a fundraiser honoring cancer survivors and remembering friends and family lost to the disease, it will include a silent auction, live music, fireworks, food from Randy's and the lighting of 5,000 luminaria bags. Please consider using the link to sign up for a volunteer shift.     The mission of HYPE is to cultivate, inform and connect aspiring community leaders ages 21-40. HYPE encourages young adults to participate in programming designed to demonstrate leadership, encourage community involvement and build a network of professional contacts. Events include professional development lunches, community outreach projects and networking events.
