Fairview Red Wing, the Red Wing Republican Eagle, the Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce and the Red Wing YMCA are teaming together to raise awareness of American Heart Month by Going Red on Friday, February 3. We’re asking that everyone (women AND men) in the community wear red to spread the word about the dangers of cardiovascular disease and remind ourselves to build healthy lifestyles. Fairview will be donating red dress pins at AM Expresso as part of this event. In addition, there will be blood pressure checks available for FREE at several locations:Feb 3rd: YMCA 7am-1pm and 5-7pm; Feb 10th: Red Wing Area Senior Center 9am-3pm; Feb 17th: Red Wing Public Library 9am – 5pm; and Feb 24th: Econo Foods West 10am – 5pm.
