              Downtown merchants are promoting a "Sweetheart of a Deal" this Friday! Eat, shop and play later on the First Friday of every month.   Come downtown and see what's happening!               Red Wing Downtown Main Street is holding a photo contest to increase awareness of the historic, picturesque downtown area. Top prize is $400; second place is $200. $100 to the winner in the young photographer category. Fifteen winning images will be printed in a commemorative DTMS calendar. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be used by the Downtown Main Street Design Committee to preserve local heritage and improve the physical environment of the downtown district.
