Public Tour—Eisenhower Bridge of Valor Tour—November 6—10:30-11:30AM
Meet at Marie’s Parking Lot, Corner of 3rd & Plum Street (Across from Liberty’s Restaurant)
Join City Engineer Jay Owens and the Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce staff for one final bridge tour! The bridge project has been an active construction project for the last 4 years and it’s nearly done! Come see the project “up close and personal” and hear about all the details that went into this massive construction project. Plus, you’ll learn about some cool unique aspects of this beautiful new bridge! Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can outfit you with a hardhat and safety vest. Closed heel and close toed shoes must be worn, boots are preferred (no high heels). We will be walking across the bridge using the new walking path. Tour is weather dependent, check with Chamber office for confirmation. We are only allowed to have 25 people, so sign up today!
