    Event Description:
    Because of weather last weekend, the Cannon Valley Trail had to cancel last Saturdays activities, so Dan Schwan will be playing his accordion from 11AM-2PM on May 25 and Rod Johnson, Archaeologist will be providing a display of his artifacts and a technique that the Indians used to make weapons and tools called “Flintknapping at the Welch station. Merchants Bank in Cannon Falls will be providing delicious cookies from the Cannon Falls Bakery.
     
    This program is for bikers and other visitors. The Cannon Valley Trail is a 19.7 mile long trail that runs through diverse and spectacular scenery on a former Chicago Great Western Railroad line connecting the cities of Cannon Falls, Welch and Red Wing paralleling the Cannon River. The Trail offers glimpses and panoramas of the valley and gradually descends 115 feet in elevation from Cannon Falls to Red Wing.
