Business Community Invited to Participate in Cannon Valley Trail Comprehensive Plan Update October 13—Noon-1PM Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce Conference Room. Red Wing Businesses are invited to participate in a conversation about economic interaction between Cannon Valley Trail visitors and the business community. The Cannon Valley Trail’s (CVT) governing Joint Powers Board (JPB) has launched a planning process to update its 1992 Comprehensive Plan Supplement. With approximately 60% of CVT’s 95,000 annual visitors originating from outside Goodhue County a critical component of the planning process will be to examine the visitor’s local economic interaction. Due to recent extension of the Red Wing Riverfront Trail to Levee Park the visitor now has a hassle-free riding experience further into the City with potential for increased economic interaction.
