              Bluffs & Brews
              The Goodhue County Historical Society and the Red Wing Environmental Learning Center (ELC) join together for a one-of-a-kind program that blends local history, outdoor adventure, and a happy hour. Registration for the July 20 event includes canoe and equipment rental, a history program, a Vasque prize  and door prize drawing entry. Only ten spaces are available per program, so register today!
              July 20—Paddle Lake Pepin & Explore Its Past—3PM (Meet at ELC)—Explore Lake Pepin—The widest navigable part of the Mississippi River and a vital part of Southeastern Minnesota`s cultural, historical and environmental identity. Launch a canoe while ELC staff provides information on Lake Pepin`s natural flora and fauna. Meet at Red Wing Brewery for happy hour after the program.  Tickets are $15 for GCHS members and $25 for non-members. The next Bluffs & Brews program will be held August 27. Bluffs & Brews is an adult program series designed to connect Goodhue County residents to natural and cultural history through outdoor excursions.
