Biggest Loser Minnesota Challenge—The Alliance for a Healthier Minnesota
This January, the Alliance for a Healthier Minnesota will launch the Biggest Loser Minnesota Challenge, a statewide competition designed to encourage all Minnesotans to adopt a healthy lifestyle. You and your teammates/employees can earn points for healthy behaviors, like dropping extra pounds, hitting the gym and eating healthy foods. The Minnesota Challenge is the second wellness competition offered by the Alliance for a Healthier Minnesota, a who’s who of Minnesota’s employers that are developing programs that encourage Minnesotans to eat better and move more. The Alliance is a public/private partnership working across communities in Minnesota to advance the health & well-being of the people who live here. Together, we create fun, engaging and informative programs to help Minnesotans get and stay healthy. Proud members of the Alliance include: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, Cargill, General Mills, Medica, Medtronic, Target and UnitedHealth Group, along with the Minnesota Department of Health’s Statewide Health Improvement Program.
