              Event Description:
              Anderson Center for Disciplinary Arts.
              July 9—10AM-1PM and July 12—2-7PM—Plant Wisdom Mural. The public is invited to join artist Camila Leiva in the creation of a large mural. Community paint sessions will happen at Artreach on July 9 and on July 12 at the Anderson Center North Studios. The mural’s design will be painted onto polytab fabric, a canvas-like material. In late August the painted fabric will be installed at on the north wall of the building at 305 Plum Street in downtown Red Wing. Individuals or groups interested participating are welcome to drop in at those times or contact Anderson Center Program Director Adam Wiltgen at adam@andersoncenter.org to schedule a shift to help paint the mural.
              The Anderson Center at Tower View is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday 11AM-4PM. Stop in to view the galleries, climb the water tower and wander through the Sculpture Garden(open dawn to dusk). The Anderson Center is located at 163 Tower View Drive, 651-388-2009.
