West 5th Street Between East Avenue and Bush Street Will Reopen to Single lane Eastbound Traffic Beginning November 30, 2017.

The City of Red Wing Public Works Department would like to inform you that West 5th Street will be reopened to single lane traffic heading eastbound between East Avenue and Bush Street beginning Thursday, November 30th.

Storm tunnel repairs continue. Normal traffic patterns are expected to resume in approximately two weeks, weather permitting. The road will be reopened as soon as repairs have been completed. Traffic control will be in place. Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area.

Motorists are encouraged to stay alert and drive carefully through all work zones and use alternate routes whenever possible. Thank you in advance for your patience!
