FMS Insurance Advisors is a boutique insurance advisory firm. We help many clients with a variety of insurance and investment needs. We are looking to hire a self-directed Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Title: Administrative Assistant
Full Time/Part Time
Required Skills and Experience:
· Demonstrated ability to work well with internal and external customers
· Customer service experience required
· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
· Organization skills & ability to be detail oriented in a busy environment
· Strong ability to respond quickly to ever-changing demands of business
· Strong work ethic
Required Job Duties:
· Greet and assist clients as they walk into office
· Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for office staff
· Manage and maintain office supply inventory
· Assist in planning seminars by scheduling dates, times, locations and mailing out marketing materials
· Ensure each insurance agent has the necessary client files for their appointments
· Assist agents in analyzing prescription drug plans
· Ensure client files are organized and put away properly
· Assist agents by ensuring policy applications have been submitted properly and track them through issuance
· Updating and maintaining customer data in Smart Agent
· Manage and prepare responses from FMS website customer requests via Admin email inbox
· Handle sensitive customer information in a confidential manner
Schedule:
· Full time hours September-December, office hours are 8-5. We are willing to negotiate hours for the other months of the year. Options could be a 3-4 days per week part-time schedule or could maintain a full-time schedule.
