              Mayo Clinic Health System Honors Those Who Gave Gift of Life—April 15—8:45AM Ceremony
              Mayo Clinic Health System will host a flag-raising and short ceremony on the Red Wing medical center campus at 701 Hewitt Ave., near the flag stand on Monday, April 15. (In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Garden View Café in the lower level of the medical center). April is Donate Life Month, which aims to raise awareness about the critical need for organ donation. Nearly 114,000 people are on the waiting list for a transplant and an average of 22 people die every day because the organs they need are not donated in time. Mayo Clinic Health System leadership and employees will raise a flag for the first time in Red Wing honoring those who gave the gift of life and encourage people to consider registering as an organ, eye and tissue donor.
