    Go on a History Cruise with the Goodhue County Historical Society aboard the Pearl of the Lake! Travel the waters of Lake Pepin and the Mississippi River while learning about local history. Have you heard of Central Point, Rest Island, or Old Frontenac? Each location has a unique history and connects broadly to the story of the Upper Mississippi River Valley. Central Point is well known for being the location where the Sea Wing capsized but do you know the story of Hok-Si-La Park located in that vicinity? Did you know that Rest Island was the home of for those wishing to be cured of alcoholism? You may have driven through Old Frontenac but have you seen its splendor from a lakeview? Historian Fred Johnson will narrate this exciting tour during the height of the fall color season! Cost for the History Cruise is $25 per person.
