Concrete Repair Work
November 09, 2016The City of Red Wing and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) would like to inform you that the concrete repair work needed to move the project into final completion on TH 61 from Old West Main Street to Potter Street is progressing. The Contractor has finished the repair work within the southbound lanes and is currently working on the repair work within the northbound lanes. The repairs are required to be completed under live traffic one lane at a time. The progression of the work is based on the concrete achieving sufficient strength in order to be reopened to traffic. The appropriate lane closures and traffic control will be in place until all of the repair work is completed which is expected to be next Friday, November 18th weather depending.
