Have you ever wondered how to build a fire if you’re out of matches or forgot a lighter?  At this program you will learn what is necessary to make a good campfire, how to keep your fire safely contained, and get to practice a few primitive fire-starting methods.  See if you can start a fire without matches?  We’ll start a campfire in the large fire ring, so be sure to pack something to roast over the flames.  Children ages 7-12 must be accompanied by an adult, ages 13 + can attend on their own.  Meet at the Upper Quarry at Memorial Park.
