Dedication of "Spectacles" Sculpture at Colvill Park. This is a 10x10 by 4 foot sculpture designed with help from local artist Dan Wiemer and fabricated by Neufeldt Industrial of Red Wing. This is in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of Lions Club. Following a short program, a parachute will be lifted and the new sculpture will be unveiled. Entertainment and food are also planned for the occasion
Red Wing Lions Club “Spectacles”
June 25—The Red Wing Lions Club will be presenting a public sculpture celebrating the 100 year legacy of Lions Clubs International at Colvill Park near the Universal Playground. Activities include: Community Picnic from 11AM-5PM, Dedication Program: 1:30PM, and entertainment by The Keynotes. Donate used eyeglasses and enter a drawing for prizes donated by Pearle Vision and Midwest Vision Center.
