Workforce Development
Workforce development is one of the largest single issues facing business today. Attracting and retaining qualified workers is the key to business growth. The Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce works on your behalf to connect businesses with potential workers and acts as a catalyst for business involvement in workforce development. The Chamber’s Workforce Development Committee serves the needs of employers. The committee:
• Sponsors events that recognize and encourage private initiatives that result in successful hiring.
• Creates a forum to become informed about workforce trends.
• Helps business reach consensus about workforce development priorities.
• Partners with service providers to conduct job fairs that are focused on business needs. The Workforce Development Committee provides an opportunity to network with other employers who seek creative, active solutions to hiring issues. We want your input. In exchange, you will have access to information, training, and best practices.

Education Seminars
The Chamber strives to provide educational opportunities to Chamber members, furthering enhancing your ability to increase clientele and gaining knowledge of issues surrounding business needs.

Business Education Partnership
The Red Wing Business Education Partnership initiative creates education, business, and community partnerships to provide learning opportunities for the Red Wing student. By understanding the individual needs of each and sharing the unique resources of the member partners, we create an environment in which both the student and business community benefit.
